Tyson Fury is targeting a third showdown with Oleksandr Usyk after the Ukrainian’s dominant fifth-round knockout of Daniel Dubois to reclaim his IBF title and become a two-time undisputed heavyweight champion.
Usyk, 38, now holds the WBC, WBA, WBO, and IBF belts once again—the same collection he briefly unified last May when he edged Fury via split decision in Riyadh. Their December rematch, also in Saudi Arabia, saw Usyk win more decisively, prompting Fury to announce his retirement.
But now, the “Gypsy King” is plotting a return.
In a fiery video shared to Instagram, the 36-year-old Brit praised Usyk’s win but made it clear who he believes still holds the upper hand.
“Massive shout-out to Oleksandr Usyk,” Fury said during a run. “He did a fantastic job against Daniel Dubois—a young, game lad. But Usyk knows there’s only one man who can beat him. I did it twice before, and the world knows it… I took it like a man.”
“No matter what anyone wants to say, I won… those fights. 100%. GK all day, every day. Get up!”
Fury’s promoter, Frank Warren, confirmed his fighter’s desire to return—possibly in a blockbuster Wembley bout—but reminded fans that WBO mandatory Joseph Parker is next in line.
“Tyson made it very clear he’d love to fight at Wembley,” Warren said. “And a third fight with Usyk would be huge. But right now, Joe Parker is the mandatory. One way or another, that fight is happening—or Parker fights for the vacant belt.”
